Welcome to Visual Art!
Hi, I am Miss Miazga, the new Art teacher. I am very excited to be at Bugg this year. I graduated cum laude from University of Missouri-Kansas City with a Bachelors of Arts in Art Education k-12. I look forward to meeting all of you.
Grading
Every quarter the students will bring home their portfolio of work with a newsletter for that quarter. Each newsletter will describe the requirements of each project. On the back of their work will have their grade. Every student will have the opportunity to improve on their grade by re-submitting their work.
Positive Behavioral Support
For positive behavior, I continue to pass out Bugg bucks in my class and offer every class to earn a lady Bugg token for showing Bugg's Best in my classroom. On days that require a lot of supplies, I give students the opportunity to earn the golden paintbrush for their table to be that day's leader. I also make brag telephone calls to parents when students are demonstrating Bugg's Best.
