Bugg PTA

Dear Parents/Guardians:

On behalf of the PTA Executive Officers , we would like to extend a warm welcome to all of our new and returning students and their families. We hope that everyone enjoyed a wonderful summer! Over the past few years, Bugg Elementary has continued to grow and so has our PTA. We have been able to accomplish a great deal through the years with the support, dedication and hard work of the Bugg families and staff. This year, the PTA will strive to increase the level of communication between us and you. We will expand on the availability of the internet by using this PTA web page to supply current information, pertinent dates and minutes from our meetings. This will keep you current on special PTA and school dates.

A very important part of our PTA is Fundraising and Volunteering. Time spent volunteering is a tremendous help not only to the Bugg PTA and staff, but also, and most importantly, to your child. We believe that higher parental participation not only improves the children's overall growth and development, but it also promotes a spirit of support and cooperation within our school.

Everyone is welcome to join us at our monthly board meetings which are held in the library media center the second Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. The Bugg Elementary PTA is involved in many projects - one of them could be right for you! We encourage you to join the PTA. If you're not available for direct involvement, please become a member of the PTA just to show your support. If you have any questions regarding the PTA, contact us or any of the PTA Executive Officers of your preference. We look forward to another exciting and productive school year and thanks to everyone who help make the Bugg PTA a successful and productive organization!
