Before School

Before School Care Program opens Monday thru Friday at 7:00 a.m. to 8:40 a.m.  Parents must fill out an enrollment form for each child. There is a $10.00 registration fee per child.  The monthly fee is $58.33 and a late fee of $10.00 is charged five days after the due date if payment is late. Students are allowed to bring their breakfast during this time; however, they can eat breakfast when the 8:40 bell rings if they normally eat breakfast provided by the school. Please be sure to prepay or be prepared to pay during that time. There is a daily activity scheduled for each grade group which consists of computer lab, media center , gym, arts & crafts and playground time for all groups K-1, 2-3, and 4-5. Mrs. Adebimpe (Program Coordinator), Mrs. Williams, Mrs. Humphrey and Mrs. Tangherlini are the Early Arrival staff members.  If you need any additional information, please contact Mrs. Adebimpe at 919-250-4752.

After School Care


Wednesdays-Only

Wednesday-Only programs operate in conjunction with established WCPSS After School programs. The program cost includes all Wednesdays in the 2009-2010 school calendar, including the six Early Dismissal days. If you are interested in this program please register your child.

•Wednesday only Tuition Fee $30.90 per child / Time 2:40- 6:00
Registration fee is $15.00 per child.
Return check fee is $15.00.
Late check fee is $10.00

Late Pick-Up Fee: $5.00 per 15 minutes after 6:00 p.m., $10.00 per 15 minutes after 6:30 p.m. Excessive instances of late pick-up may result in termination of program participation.

WCPSS will return registration fee if there is insufficient enrollment to operate the program.
WCPSS schools with established After School Programs now have the ability to offer an after school program on Wednesday. This is in place to support parents needing childcare on Wednesdays. Schools will use the approved Wednesday-Only Fee Schedule for 2009-10. All program policies and procedures used for the Monday-Friday program apply to the Wednesday-Only program; however parents may not enroll their children between payment periods.
The Wednesday-Only Program is not a drop-in program. Parents must enroll for the year to take advantage of childcare on all Wednesdays. Parents must pay a registration fee of $15.00 for the program. The monthly fee is due on the same schedule as the Monday-Friday fee, and all late due dates and charges apply.
The Wednesday-Only Program provides childcare from the time of school dismissal until 6:00 p.m.


After School Care

After School Care Program opens Monday thru Friday at 3:55 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  Parents must fill out an enrollment form for each child. There is a $15.00 registration fee per child.  The monthly fee is $128.15 and a late fee of $10.00 is charged five days after the due date if payment is late. Late Pick-Up Fee: $5.00 per 15 minutes after 6:00 p.m., $10.00 per 15 minutes after 6:30 p.m. per  students .Snack is   provided by the school.. There is a daily activity schedule for each grade group which consists of Computer Lab, Media Center , Gym, Arts & Crafts and playground time for all groups K-1, 2-3, and 4-5. Mrs. Hunter (Program Coordinator), Mrs. Thomas, and Mrs.Jones are the After School staff members.  If you need any additional information, please contact Mrs. Hunter  at 919-868-0337
